"Already long ago, from when we sold our vote to no man, the People have abdicated our duties; for the People who once upon a time handed out military command, high civil office, legions — everything, now restrains itself and anxiously hopes for just two things: bread and circuses" ~Juvenal

Open heart surgery? But they did not know how to close?  :D

By the way feel free to use my line when you are approached by fools in a bar. Tell them you are an Aztec Cardiologist and watch their expressions. More than once, the response to me was: Yourrrrrrre a doctor?"
ROCAMORA, a novel of 17th century Spain, available on line at Amazon, B&N, and can be ordered at booksellers through Ingram and Books in Print.

If, as Napoleon said, "History is a myth men agree upon," let mine be the definitive myth.

Either they're on their third or fourth beer by then, or you're just not dealing with the sharpest pencil in the pack in the bars you go to.  :D

The IQs of tunnel visioned fortune-hunting female barracudas in Southeast Florida cannot be lowered by any amount of alcohol.
