10,000 re-enactors showed up to reenact the battle of Gettysburg for the 150th anniversary commemoration. I visited Gettysburg several years ago but unfortunately, as much as I would like I cannot be there this year. I probably couldn't even get a hotel room if even if I could go. I had read somewhere before that almost 25,000 re-enactors were expected but 10,000 is still a pretty respectable number.
