Photos of two girls that were carried with soldiers who died in Virginia in 1865 (one Union, one Confederate) have not been identified as of yet, and the Museum of the Confederacy has released the photos, hoping someone will recognize them.USA: Who is this little girl whose father died in a Civil War battle?
I would be interested to no if they ever manage to identify them. I suppose it is a possibility since the provenance of the photos is apparently pretty well known.
