Anybody know how many American WW1 vets are still alive? I would guess it has to be a small handfull.
Well if the war ended in 1919, and some kid of 15 were to have fought in it (plausibly speaking), then you could conceivably have a vet who's 103 still living somewhere. It would be interesting, interesting stuff to hear what he'd have to say.
I might be mistaken but didnt the last British vet die a few months ago, I think he was 110.
