Saw a link to this story over at NJO about a letter from the First World War that wasn't delivered until recently:World War I Postcard Arrives At Soldier's Daughter's Home After 90 YearsIt seems really odd. The letter had to have been stuck in some basement or blocked off area, perhaps in a dusty bin of old letters somewhere in England. Then, when someone came around to opening up some box or whatnot, it was decided to throw the letter back into circulation (or so I imagine the story goes). I wonder how many other old letters are stored away that have never been delivered.
That is a good story. Hard to imagine that the mail carrier was able to find the daughter after 90 years,
