I mentioned it a few days ago, but today is the official five year anniversary of the forum.  I think 50 years is the golden anniversary, and 25 years is silver, and one year is paper.  What is five years?Incidentally, if you are interested in the history of this forum, here is the forum's first post:Donnie was the first active member to sign up here after myself, and here was his first post:

Wow I didn't realize I started off pimping the Ivory Tower right out of the gate.  Cool. 🙂

And it's funny that over the course of these past five years, I still haven't gotten around to doing any of those readings.  ;D  In my defense, I have completed two masters degrees, so I haven't exactly been sitting on my hands.

Yes you've been busy for sure.  I've managed to avoid bankruptcy for what four years now?  Try managing almost half a million dollars of debt on $30,000 a year income.  Okay it's a more complicated than that, but the stress is not pleasant. 🙁

Wow, I didn't realize it was that bad.  Sorry to hear that.  We should chat sometime…you used to have that chatroom on one of your sites, but I think it must be gone now.

    Wood, traditional; silverware, modern.  🙂
