Remember to stash your extra shekels in the bank so you can earn interest.  Oh, the power of compounding!  I've set the minimum deposit to 75 shekels, but we can reduce this if there are murmurings.

Okay my 77 shekels have been deposited.  Does the empire here have a stock market for mutual funds or maybe an IRA Roth account? 🙂

The closest thing so far is the Van Gogh painting in the forum shop.  Consider it an investment which could significantly increase your $$.  On the other hand, you could lost money if you buy it…..so it's a gambling man's decision.

Donnie, your 77 shekels has now grown to 80 shekels.  How's that for forum power, eh?? :)Actually your idea of an investment gave me another idea for a shop product.  It might help you, but it might hurt you.

I can reduce this but I don't want to go below 50, as it provides more incentive to post.  The floor is now open to agree or disagree with any change in minimum deposit.

You can lower the minimum deposit, but raise the compounding interest. 🙂

I like Donalds idea! 😀  I think fifty is a little better, but I do understand your reasons.

Wait….you already have enough to buy some items in the store!  If you play your cards correctly you could gain some nice earnings by buying and selling items, or by buying the right items!  I think I will add some more in the future….remember, the more rare an item is the more expensive it is going to be.The junk bonds are speculative investments.  You might make some money off them, or you might lose some money.  Welcome to the 80s, my friend!  High risk, high reward….

Alright folks, I have lowered the minimum deposit to 50 shekels so you can invest more frequently.  Remember, though – the minimum withdrawal is 25 shekels, so you'll have to take out at least this much if you are going to use your shekels to buy something, give them to someone else, etc.

What do you mean buy and sell? Between members? I buy something thats one of a kind and some else makes me an offer I cant refuse?
