Given that polls are starting to say Romney will take the Popular vote and Obama will win the Electoral College.  I thought I would put up this link to a story about the most nail-biting presidential elections, it is pretty good reading.BTW, I still think Romney is going to win in a 1980 repeat.  This is a pretty good piece I found linked on RCP: Mitt Romney set to win, maybe by a mile

Let's hope you're right.  Dick Morris has long been predicting something like that, where Romney would get support in droves en route to a victory.  He is the one pundit who is truly staking his entire reputation upon it.  He'll most likely be considered a genius pollster or one who utterly lacks credibility after the election results are in.

Not quite yet.  Well, mine has anyway.  I voted almost two weeks ago.

It seems Michigan, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania may be in reach for Romney. We voted two weeks ago in Florida, which should go Romney.

Can someone explain this sentence so that it makes sense to me? “American employers hired more workers than forecast in October while an influx of people joining the labor force pushed the jobless rate higher, according to the last job market report before the presidential election.”  The last part is what really does not make sense.  IT is from a Bloomberg puff piece designed to convince people Obama is doing a GREAT job on the economy.  It sounds like truthspeak to me.  I mean, I understand the media is in the bag for Obama, but come on, this is just a little ridiculous.

No different from “inflation” stats that leave out food and fuel rising costs.

That is my read on it too.  It seems the ministry of information is having a tough time spinning the news.

CNN just did it too. They “explained” that the higher unemployment is good because it means more people are looking for jobs.  WHAT?!?!?!?  THIS IS INSANITY!!!

Jobs growth is being outpaced by the population growth (i.e. new job seekers entering the job market).  Obama isn't even maintaining the status quo in what they term the “new economy.”

If anyone's watching FOX now, Romney is making an awesome speech in Colorado.  He often mentioned how he created sucessful businesses and got the SLC Olympics on course. Wish he was saying this stuff all along.  His best line so far was saying he's not just going to take office, he's going to take responsibility for that office. So many digs at Obama without mentioning his name.

Today is the day!  We should know who wins by the time we go to bed tonight.
