What geographic realm, as well as being it's own, is also part of three others?Bonus question: Name the other three

Is the answer somewhere in the UK? I'm thinking something like Wales – part of Great Britain, the United Kingdom, European Union? Ok, admittedly stretching it here a bit….
de Blij, 13th ed. is what I'm using.Both of you gave some of the answer. How about instead of saying part, let's say overlaps.
I'm guessing that if both Australia and Wales are “some” of the answer then the answer is something like “British Kingdom” or the UK or the “British Commonwealth” (not sure that even exists)…..right?
The term overlaps is leading me to Russia; a realm unto itself according to De Blij but with encroachments from Europe, N/Af-SW/Asia, and, perhaps, the Chinese World (depends on where you place the Non-Arab North… Africa or CW.Closer?
As far as the British thing goes, England is just that “England”; Great Britain is England, Scotland and Wales; The United Kingdom is Great Britain (see previous) and Northern Ireland.Could the realm you refer to be “The Middle East” All being part of Europe (Turkey), Asia and Africa?

I guess I didn't completely understand the question, and now I don't understand the answer. Are you saying that North Africa is part of Southwest Asia and Europe??? I can understand European influence in North Africa but I wouldn't ever consider it part of Europe. As for the Asia thing, I just don't see how that is possible.

Phid, geographic realms are not just based on continents, but also other things like culture, climate, and religion. (Hawaii is not part of the North American realm because of its location) The continent of Africa is divided into two zones. Most of North Africa is Islam where most of Subsaharan Africa is Christian or African. Many countries along the Transition Zone of Africa AKA the Islamic Front (like Chad, Sudan, and some others) are in two geographic zones. You'll probably notice those countries are arguably the most unstable in the world. (as are most that are on the borders of realms…Balkans, Baltic States, Transcaucasion)Islam is dominant in a few Eastern European countries as well as some East Asian countries like Aghanistan and some of the other “stans”, that's why they are part of three other geographic realms. (most overlap just two)
I guess it just seems odd to me to divide “realms” based on a combination of man-made and natural zones. For example, I could seemingly argue that the island of Barbados falls into realms of the Caribbean, America/North America, and Great Britain based on a combination of factors. I don't mean to rain on your parade, though. I guess I can kind of see how it would work.
