According to the shark hunters/taggers there, the sharks like to hang around this lovely beach.Chatham Lighthouse BeachFrom their online brochure:”This amazingly expansive stretch of sandy beach is a place where you can enjoy a warm summer's day watching the seals pass by during their daily migration FOLLOWED BY 18 FT GREAT WHITE SHARKS or stroll down to South Beach towards Monomoy on an afternoon nature hike.”(I added the remark in red)I might go there this weekend. It would be cool to see a shark.
This is how close they come to shore.http://www.capecodsharkhunters.com/752_500_csupload_49064100.jpg?u=221114999
You're pretty fortunate that you can take excursions to Cape Cod. I've only been there once (on my way to Martha's Vineyard) and would enjoy going there again sometime. If it wasn't for the political leanings of the people in New England, it would probably target that area as the place I'd want to live. So much history there.
I don't care about the politics of the area I just want to know where these things are breeding. The number of them increases every year or two since they've invaded.
