    I just saw news today of what happened on Sunday – The Most Important Civil War Auction in History…or so it says.  On the site you can browse through items that were up for sale.  You can read about how Grant's sword went for about $1.7 million.  Are you sad you missed the auction?  :'(

    Yea I just checked go look at the links I posted and you will get the final price on most of the items.

    Oh sorry I didn't know you had already posted.  Well at least we now know how much the Grant sword supposedly went for.  Interestingly enough it pretty much matches the price at which the Napoleon sword may have been offered at recently.
