Merry Christmas.  I currently am out of town, having gotten stuck because there are some 20″ of snow that are falling in the Midwest where I was going to go.  I will try to get a flight back there tomorrow.

I was wondering if you made it out.  Are you stuck at your destination, or just stuck?

I wish, being deployed would be better than 24 hours stuck on a duty desk passing along reports of drunks that get in trouble to the chain of command.  Ironically, Stille Nacht is traditionally the last song sung at Christmas Eve Mass.  It was in our church last night and it sound even better in the original German than in the English version.

I just got home about two hours ago.  I had been stuck in Pennsylvania after rescheduling my flight because of the snowstorm.  But when I tried to return yesterday afternoon, I got bumped to today (I did get a free roundtrip ticket out of it, though).  Today I was supposed to leave at 1 p.m. but it was delayed long enough for me to miss my connecting flight, and I was then put on the next flight so my layover turned into about a five-six hour affair.  Of course, that last flight itself was delayed a bit as well.  I really don't like it when what it supposed to be a relatively short trip of three hours turns into an all-day thing.  I've got things I really need to get done over break, and thanks to the messed up travel situation I'm now behind.  >:(
