Yet Corporations donate millions to charitable events and individual charities as well as scholarships,sponsorships and other things. I imagine they do this to show that they are good corporatecitizens and extend themselves beyond the boundary of what is mandated by rule or law. I alsoassume they do this with the full support of the Board of Directors as the funds will have an effect on dividends and profits.
What? Could this be that these same corporations who have no obligations, fight in no wars, have no responsibilities in the community are actually voluntarily giving back to the community? 😉

Second, if you go to the forum for the anti-Tea Party group, you can see a bunch of anti-Tea Partiers chatting away. The funniest/strangest thread to read is entitled, “WHY THIS WHOLE APPROACH IS A BIG MISTKAE”. The thread participants discuss how wise it is for their group to exist because it allows conservatives to point to the group if there's any hokey stuff going on at any Tea Party rallies. They go back and forth as to whether it's a good idea, before they start to wonder whether or not the whole anti-Tea Party site was actually a trick, presumably by Tea Partiers. Too funny…

Well, I guess this makes it that everyone actually has a chance in succeeding and it does means that actually the political competition in America is very stable and everyone is free to get a place if they are up to it. This is actually very good news comparing to other country where they don?t even have the freedom of speech. But I believe that they won?t be in the white house as well, as they are just a group that giving out opinions.
Don't speak too soon. It certainly appears as if the Tea Party is being co-opted by the Republican. The Republicans are no better than the Democrats except in the quality of the ideas they steal. The sad part is the The Democrats try to enact their agenda and partially succeed, while the Republicans continually partially concede their agenda in the name of compromise. This ensures that eventually the Democrats will achieve their goals because none or at least not enough Republicans have the courage of their convictions to refuse to compromise. Compromise is starting to become a dirty word in my view of the world.

That and McCains noodle-like ability to change his position while avoiding the label of a flip-flopper. He is like Neo dodging bullets in the Matrix.

Ain't that the sad, sad story of elections in America today. I had high hopes for the Tea Party but it is rapidly fading as I see it co-opted by the Republicans and pulled into the particularly conservative brand of influence peddling.
