    You know when My wife and I were back east last October we stopped in this little town in Vermont to look at this old Cemetery and came across the grave of Robert Frost. When I get the pictures developed I wiill post it.

    I put this in its own topic so you can post your pictures here.When I lived in Ann Arbor I found out that Frost had taught there at one or two points during his life and it was during that time that he thought of his basis for the famous poem “Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening” – some place near Portage Road.  When I was in seventh or eighth grade I had to memorize that for a class.  Excellent poem.

    Stumpfoot, where in Vermont is this?(PS  Killington has 26 trails open already!  :-D)

    Bennington Vermont. They also have this HUGE battle monument relating to the Revolutionary war. It looks like the Washington Monument.

    Not yet but hopefully this week. I took 28 rolls of film while back east……I like photography 😀

    Here it is. It was taken late in the evening. The grave is located towards the back of the cemetery.IMG011.jpg

    Wow that looks nice with the fall leaves in the picture.  I guess his family is buried with him as the latest death date is 1995.
