    Montgomery once said that Rule One on Page One of the Book of War is ? “Never March on Moscow”.So why did Hitler? Any thoughts?

    Probably because he was crazy and egotistical.  If he had left the military operations to his generals we might all be speaking German today.

    He proved this at Stalingrad.
