From my admittedly limited misunderstanding it is essentially a French Oliver twist type story.  If that is the case, it is probably worth watching at least.

I remember when it happened.  I thought at the time that the kid was stupid and still do.  It is a perfect example of wishful thinking; or not letting reality get in the way of fantasy.

Never seen it.  I have read a little Victor Hugo.  Just enough to convince me I don't like it.

I think it looks pretty cool and is not really much different than the folks that build replica trebuchets and siege engines.  If nothing else, a visit would be interesting.

Makes sense I guess.  I was just thinking you could maybe leverage the traffic from there to your other sites.

I would have talked to him.  If nothing else, you might have gotten some increased traffic out of the interview.

No, I have not.  I am just getting ready to read Death Dealer, the memoirs of the Commandant at Auschwitz.  I bought it last year and just recently found it again with the stuff I brought home from the office before I retired. The book sounds interesting though

I have to agree with Ski.  I can't decide whether this is hilarious or tragic.

I got a 4/7.  If I remember correctly the story with Sparta was shortly after the Battle of Plataea when Philip was consolidating his hold on the Greek World.

Wow, why are your'e sites getting nailed so bad?  I have the occasional spammer at MHUS but nothing like what you guys describe.  Since I started using Disqus for comments I don't even get comment spam anymore, just the occasional spam trackback.  Of course, I have not been posting a hole lot lately either since I have been focusing on my IT classes and that may account for some of it, my analytics numbers are down a little too.

It was probably Anonymous 😮 .  I would call the FBI and probably get the NSA involved as well. 😀 ;D
