This story I just saw deals with one of history's coolest/funny/most distinctive names – the 18th century garden designer Capability Brown. Turns out that a garden plan of Brown's was lost for some 250 years but will now be created in Kirkhale, England.Capability Brown's first garden plan to be brought to life after 250 yearsBrown was one of the most famous garden designers of the 18th century and was quite prolific. However, he was not without his critics...I believe the Englishman Uvedale Price criticized him in his "An Essay on the Picturesque" of 1794.
