    This site has a few factoids about the war.  Like this one:

    Over 360,000 soldiers from the United States of America lost their lives in this war, most of them succumbing to diseases. Only one-third of the casualties were due to wounds while the remaining two-thirds died due to diseases. The most common diseases that affected soldiers during the Civil War were typhoid, malaria, pneumonia, dysentery, arthritis and even malnutrition.

    I did not find the facts interesting.  Indeed, his list of factoids actually appears to be a selected pulling of numbers and incidents from the Wikipedia article on the war.  It is essentially just common historical knowledge that has been repackaged.

    Survey course information… Good if you knew little to nothing about the Civil War.And like Patrick said, this info is found abundantly elsewhere…Move along, nothing to see here  😀
