Does anyone know what the origin of the top hat paired with goggles is? If you do a search on google you can see that it's a common pairing:https://www.google.com/search?q=top+hat+with+goggles&client=firefox-a&hs=nM9&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=EJLhUvyQMJWqsQTvy4HABg&ved=0CCUQsAQ&biw=1877&bih=883When I looked for an answer, it mentioned that it's part of Steampunk fashion, which is essentially a perspective of industrialized Victorian culture. I wonder, though, if there's anything more specific. Bonus points - my question came about when I was wondering about the origin of the ghoulish figure who wears a top hat from Cloud Atlas:http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3193875200/tt1371111?ref_=ttmi_mi_all_sf_84
