I've been put on the spot. I am part of a luncheon with some of the surviving Doolittle Raiders. I have been asked to have a few questions ready for them. I am racking my brain trying to think of some. So I'm asking for some suggestions. If I choose any of your questions I will reply with their answers. Thanks
I've never heard of them until you posted it. Found this website:http://www.doolittletokyoraiders.com/. Wow, some amazing men! Can't think of any questions, but shake their hands and tell them I said thanks.
Doolittle and his group were a direct influence on my father's first cousin. Bud (cousin) immediately enlisted in the military upon graduation from high school and became a pilot in the Pacific after Pearl Harbor was bombed. Doolittle and his men were an amazing group of gentlemen.
