Julius Caesar!!!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the tips! I have been studying (on my own) Julius Caesar and the late Republic for the past 8 years or so. I am now obtaining a degree from Western CT University, and they are known for their History dept. It is hard for me to come by a Latin/Greek tutor but I am definitely trying and interested in learning. I want to go to NYU for graduate school as well, but one thing at a time, for now. 🙂 Thank you again.
Hahaha! See Adams is already being overshadowed within this conversation! Poor Johnny 😛
I would definitely consider Cleopatra a mistress, of both Caesar and Marc Antony. Caesar was married to Claudia when he was in Egypt. Say what you will, the Romans practiced monogamous marriage, I think that has been fairly established. What the upper classes did was something else, but then the same can be said about the present. Just ask Tiger ;D 😀
Julius Caesar was actually married to Calpurnia, his third wife at the time.
