Home › Forums › Early America › Ben Franklin Quote
I read this quote in an e-mail that was sent to me. It attributes the quote to Benjamin Franklin, although when I tried to verify this I didn't get back anything which truly substantiated it. Here it is:"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote."
Don't know but it's verrrry good!
According to this site it is a Franklin quotehttp://jpetrie.myweb.uga.edu/poor_richard.html
