Should we scrap the Twenty-Second Amendment? What is it, you ask? It's the provision which limits the number of consecutive terms the president may have in office.http://hotair.com/archives/2011/11/08/bill-clinton-get-rid-of-the-22nd-amendment/
Simply, no. Of all the amendments to the Constitution it is one of the best and makes the most sense.
I like it as well. It's a guard against abuse of power, which is necessary in our corrupt world. I also think that the natural-born-citizen clause of the Constitution is important, despite what other people may think.
Also agree. Remember when people wished Reagan could run for a 3rd term? He would have served while Alzheimers afflicted him if he could have run and won. And FDR was suffering from a brain tumor during his brief 4rth term.
Too bad it wasn't two terms for all politicians.
I don't know that I am a fan of term limits for all politicians. I think it depends on the office. If there were term limits everywhere then inmates wouldn't be sitting in pink jumpsuits on cots in GP mediums in the desert just outside of Phoenix. That would just be a pity.
