Who knew that medieval women needed bosom support as well? Medieval bras discovered at Austrian castle
One wonders why this idea faded from history until it was revived in the twentieth century.
I am guessing they were not popular clothing articles. Perhaps they were very uncomfortable and that is why the idea faded or some strange religious objection.
